The Swiss Alliance for Data-Intensive Services has published an ethical framework to help Swiss companies manage data-related ethical issues. The guide offers fundamental principles, practical recommendations and solutions for integrating ethics into data management and maintaining customer trust.

The question of ethical data handling by companies has become a major issue in the era of data management scandals. As organizations seek to become more data-driven, they must also avoid the risks of damaging their image and the trust of their customers and employees.
To help companies address these issues systematically, the Swiss Alliance for Data-Intensive Services has published an ethical framework to guide Swiss organizations. This Code of Ethics for Data Valuation aims to maintain trust between companies and their customers, by favoring self-regulation over strict legislation.
