Swiss CEOs are confident about the economic recovery and plan to invest heavily in digital transformation. However, their main concern is cyber attacks. On the other hand, they are less concerned about environmental and climate issues, with lower levels of sustainable investment.

According to a survey conducted by PwC, Swiss CEOs are very confident about the recovery of their businesses, and plan to invest heavily in digital transformation. However, this growing digitalization is accompanied by new concerns, particularly in terms of cybersecurity.
Most Swiss executives are optimistic about revenue growth. The pandemic has accelerated this dynamic, making digitization a top priority. Indeed, 92% of CEOs in Switzerland plan to increase their digital investments over the next three years. In half of companies, budgets allocated to digital transformation are expected to increase by more than 10%, a figure well above the global average.
While Swiss executives are confident in their ability to grow, they are also more aware of the risks associated with cyber security. They see cyber-attacks as the greatest threat, far more worrying than the residual effects of the pandemic. As a result, more Swiss executives fear cyber risks to their growth than other global risks.
When it comes to social and environmental responsibility, however, Swiss CEOs are less concerned about climate issues. Fewer perceive climate change as a major risk, and they are also less inclined to invest in sustainable development than their international counterparts.
In summary, Swiss CEOs are confident about their economic prospects and are pursuing their digital transformation, while remaining vigilant in the face of cyber-attacks, but with a more measured approach to environmental issues.
